Challenge
Alliance Automotive Group, one of the leaders in automotive spare parts distribution, called upon Tétris' expertise to radically transform their workspace as part of their relocation to Levallois.
The ambitious project aimed to transition from 2,500 m² of office space spread across five floors to a single 2,900 m² open floor. The core objective was to bring all employees together on one level to facilitate interactions and exchanges, strengthen cohesion, create a modern and attractive work environment for their talent, and introduce the concept of flex office—a first for the company.
In addition to this employee-dedicated space, a 350 m² area on a lower floor of the building was developed. This space is entirely dedicated to client reception and customer meeting rooms.
Tétris was entrusted with the design, implementation of the fit-out works, and furniture solutions, facing a dual challenge: managing the budget while meeting the tight four-month deadline.
Solution
To ensure employee buy-in for this major change, Tétris first orchestrated participatory workshops, involving a team of ambassadors representing all departments. This collaborative approach notably helped refine the design concepts and smoothly prepare the transition to flex office, taking into account the specificities of each department.
Building on these key ideas, Tétris developed a design concept inspired by Alliance Automotive Group's corporate culture and brand identity. The vast open floor was transformed into a dynamic and diverse space, with the Heart of the Village as its centerpiece, around which four themed tea points are articulated, each with its own visual and sensory identity. These tea points offer a variety of atmospheres: a soothing green space at the heart of the floor, an open area overlooking the terrace, a warm-toned zone evoking a sunset, and a chic industrial-style space reminiscent of automotive workshops.
To meet the flex office requirements and create an optimal work environment, Tétris designed a modular, flexible layout focused on mixed uses. The space was designed to accommodate different work typologies, thus responding to the varied needs of employees throughout their day. Easily reconfigurable 'boxes' were integrated for tasks requiring concentration or small committee meetings. Open collaborative spaces encourage teamwork and creativity, while relaxation areas promote breaks and informal exchanges. A curved IT bar, strategically placed at the entrance, serves as a convergence point and encourages spontaneous encounters, thus fostering cohesion between Alliance Automotive Group's different departments.
Sustainability was placed at the heart of the project, in line with the company's CSR initiatives. Tétris prioritized ecological materials, particularly bio-sourced paints, and integrated eco-responsible lighting fixtures made in France. The reuse of some existing furniture through Tétris Re-Use helped reduce the project's carbon footprint.
The first-floor space received special attention and was designed for welcoming clients, suppliers, and employees who need meeting rooms.
The design approach was crafted to bring a more prestigious dimension to this space and reflect Alliance Automotive Group's DNA and values. The centerpiece is a custom-made reception desk, constructed with noble materials and featuring the company's colors. Integrated backlighting creates a striking graphic effect and adds subtle elegance. The harmonious arrangement of volumes contributes to creating a sophisticated atmosphere without being ostentatious. This floor embodies the company's professionalism while evoking, through its design, the precision and technical expertise required by the sector.
The result is a set of modern, flexible, and functional workspaces that perfectly meet Alliance Automotive Group's needs. This project demonstrates Tétris' expertise in creating environments that foster collaboration and productivity, while reflecting the company's values in terms of sustainability and innovation.
