After Paris, Berlin and Rotterdam, it is now Warsaw’s turn – Magnicity’s sixth location in the world is located in Varso Tower, where over 1,600 square metres of viewing terraces, unique bars and a multimedia and tourist space stretch out over the spectacular panorama of the capital.

A unique space on top of Warsaw

Highline Warsaw is located at the top of the 310-metre Varso Tower and is the highest urban attraction in the entire European Union. It is the first space of its kind in Poland and the sixth in the Magnicity network worldwide, after Paris, Rotterdam, Berlin and Chicago. It features interactive multimedia exhibitions that combine the history and contemporary life of Warsaw, as well as two viewing terraces, including a terrace with a real garden covering an area of 400 square metres. The heart of the project is the HighGarden Rooftop Lounge – a panoramic cocktail bar surrounded by a spectacular view of the capital. Highline Warsaw is not only a viewing point, but also a space for experiences, where technology and architecture come together to offer guests an unforgettable experience.

 – Working in such a prestigious and technically demanding location required precise coordination and open communication between a large group of international partners at every stage of the project. Thanks to the commitment of all parties – from the investor, through the designers, to the building manager – and the experience of our team, we were able to efficiently translate the architects’ ambitious vision into reality, creating a space that combines the highest quality standards with the unique character of the place. – says Magda Muczyńska, Commercial Director, Tétris Poland.

The scope of Tétris’ work included the execution of several floors of the skyscraper with a total area of over 1,600 square metres – from technical spaces on level -2, through an elegant reception area on the ground floor, to viewing floors on the 46th and 49th floors and a terrace with a panoramic view of the entire city of Warsaw. The project was based on a design by the French architectural studio BRS. As Tétris experts emphasise, the high standard and complexity of the project meant that each of its elements required an individual approach and precision, which could only be achieved through close cooperation between all parties involved.

 – Highline Warsaw is a unique project that requires great precision but also yields enormous satisfaction. The implementation was full of challenges: from installing systems in confined spaces, through assembling non-standard structures, to coordinating the work of many international teams. Nevertheless, thanks to the extensive experience and flexibility of our team, it was possible to turn this ambitious vision of the architects into reality – says Dominik Surmacz, Senior Project Manager, Tétris Poland.

Entering the world of Highline Warsaw

The ground floor was designed as a representative entrance to the world of Highline Warsaw. Tétris was responsible for the execution of the night reception area – from floor finishing, through cloakroom construction, to reception furniture.

What makes the biggest impression on visitors, however, is the entertainment and viewing area awaiting them on the upper floors. On the 46th floor, Tétris, together with set designer Clemence Farrell, created a souvenir shop and an immersive corridor. Thanks to mirrors, cloud prints and interactive projectors, visitors experience there the illusion of walking above the city, giving them a unique perspective of the capital. The Experience Room, on the other hand, is a unique multimedia space with screens built into the floor, mirrored surfaces and stretch ceilings, which together create an evocative visual experience.

The HighGarden Rooftop Lounge was created on the 49th floor of Varso Tower. As part of the complete finishing and installation work, Tétris experts used luxurious materials, natural stone and wood, complemented by suspended elements with greenery and modern audio-video systems. The toilets on the 49th floor are particularly striking, entirely lined with mirrors and equipped with designer washbasins with illuminated bodies.

The visit to Highline Warsaw culminates in an observation deck with a garden, custom-made furniture and observation telescopes. Here, Tétris was also responsible for the lighting installations and security systems, as well as the sound system elements, which were integrated into the terrace greenery.

The entire project is accompanied by comprehensive technical and catering facilities located on level -2, which include changing rooms, toilets, showers for employees, as well as cold stores, freezers and warehouses supporting the operation of bars and restaurants – a part of the project that is invisible to guests, but crucial for its smooth operation.

 – We are proud to present the completed Highline Warsaw project to our guests – an ambitious and demanding space, which has been successfully executed thanks to the effective work of the experts involved. The Tétris team has fully recreated our vision, creating a place that stimulates the senses at every turn and transports people into a magical world of clouds, visible from every perspective. We are confident that it will delight everyone who has the pleasure of visiting it – says Przemysław Konieczyński, Dyrektor Generalny Highline Warsaw.
