Challenge
Lenovo sought to create a positive and welcoming office space that would encourage staff to return to the office for greater collaboration. Their previous coworking environment offered limited inspiration and couldn’t reflect the company's innovative culture or support their collaborative needs.
With an existing global service level agreement in place, Lenovo turned to us for comprehensive support in this workplace transformation, from identifying the right property to creating a space that would impress clients and motivate employees.
Approach
JLL and Tétris implemented a combined approach that leveraged multiple service lines. The process began with Tenant Representation to source the optimal property that would meet Lenovo's specific requirements.
Once the ideal location was secured, JLL Project and Development Services managed the construction while providing oversight and budget tracking. Tétris handled the design, build, and implementation portions of the project. The integrated team delivered comprehensive services including cost management, FFE procurement, and occupational health and safety management.
Throughout the process, we used sustainability-driven scoring applications, informing decisions that aligned with environmental priorities while maintaining focus on creating a workspace that would truly serve Lenovo's business objectives.
Results
The project delivered a functional and excellent office space on time and within budget. Lenovo now has an inspiring workspace they can proudly showcase to clients and employees, successfully achieving their primary goal of encouraging staff to return to the office for enhanced collaboration.
