Challenge
Following on from the MRS3 site, MRS4 is an emblematic building in the autonomous port of Marseille, gate 4. MRS4 is an eco-responsible data center that supports cloud usage, digital media and local businesses.
This site will support the development of the Marseille content platform, which aims to become one of the top 5 global Internet platforms within 2 years.
The design of the workspaces and reception areas are meant be pleasant, user-friendly and secure. A smart and innovative architecture. A modern, but not luxurious design, in respect and harmony with the Digital Realty charter. This building has already been awarded the Breeam "Very good" certificate for the design part.
Solution
With the sea as the starting point and common thread of our design, in keeping with the architect's guideline, the fittings blend in with the building's architecture to invite visitors and staff to an underwater walk worthy of a dive.
Reflecting the flora and fauna of the site, the materials, colors and shapes reflect a sense of environmental responsibility. A journey that ends on a rooftop "boat deck", like a docking station.
