An office fit-out serving the client experience for Claranet
A major player in IT, Cloud and AI services, Claranet entrusted Tétris with the fit-out of its new 3,000 sq m offices, located on the 4th and top floor in Lezennes. Delivered as a Design & Build project including a full furniture solution, the scheme placed a strong emphasis on reuse. The brief had a…

A clearly defined dual ambition
The project was driven by two main objectives.
Firstly, to optimise spaces dedicated to welcoming clients—who are frequent visitors to the site—in order to convey a clearer and more premium brand image.
Secondly, to encourage collaboration between employees and support their return to the office in a context where remote working is widely adopted.
A strong CSR commitment also shaped the brief, notably through the refurbishment of existing furniture and an ambitious reuse strategy.
When brand DNA becomes space
Tétris’ response is built around a strong design concept directly inspired by Claranet’s DNA: a technological, slightly geek universe enriched with references to video games and innovation.
The layout is organised into two clearly identified areas—a client zone and an employee zone—connected by central, shared spaces.
Two “Gates” mark the transitions: a red gate that sets the tone for the client experience from arrival, and a green gate that introduces a more collaborative, wellbeing-focused environment.

Collective thinking at the heart of design
The design process was developed through co-creation, with regular workshops involving Claranet teams.
This collaborative approach extended to the graphic design, with Claranet’s in-house designers contributing to the creation of wall graphics throughout circulation areas and shared spaces.
These visual elements reflect the brand’s universe while incorporating subtle references to Claranet’s other sites in France, notably Paris and Rennes.
Encouraging interaction
In the former offices, the spatial layout did not sufficiently encourage interaction between teams.
Through detailed space planning and programming, Tétris addressed this challenge by creating a single, clearly identified focal point.
The office fit-out is structured around a 400 sq m central work café—the true heart of the project. Replacing scattered tea points, this space hosts catering, coffee breaks, informal meetings and collective moments, naturally strengthening collaboration across teams.

A responsibly sustainable project
The design had to address significant technical constraints, including the absence of raised floors and suspended ceilings.
Tétris developed bespoke solutions such as “box-in-box” meeting rooms, while acoustic performance was integrated from the earliest design stages.
From an environmental perspective, reuse was a cornerstone of the project’s responsible approach: 86% of the furniture was retained from existing stock. Furniture not reused was donated to employees, with the remainder resold.
