Tétris, a company within the JLL group, is strengthening its presence in the education sector with a new project of significant relevance. In partnership with STAP, a specialist in structural works, Tétris is responsible for the campus expansion works at PaRK IS Alfragide, Portugal’s leading IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) school. This intervention, with an investment exceeding €16 million, is part of a global project worth over €30 million and responds to the growing demand for excellence in international education in Portugal.
A Pioneering Project in International Education
The expansion includes the construction of the first building in Portugal dedicated exclusively to the Senior School of an international school, corresponding to lower and upper secondary education in the national curriculum. This pioneering project embodies the vision of creating an exceptional space that combines a welcoming and contemporary environment with the existing international educational offering, preparing students to enter the world’s top universities.
The new facilities include study rooms and classrooms, catering support areas and canteen, convenience areas, and spaces dedicated to the boarding school aspect. The Alfragide campus, already the largest of PaRK IS, offers unique facilities in academic, technological, sports, and arts areas, serving a student body aged 1 to 18 years.
Excellence Infrastructure
The current campus features classrooms equipped with advanced technologies, children’s areas, sports facilities including pavilion, gym and football and basketball courts, auditorium, performing arts rooms, music studios, and laboratories focused on scientific and robotics skills. The expansion will complement this already robust offering.

Execution During Academic Terms
One of the main challenges is the fact that the works will take place during academic terms, requiring high standards of rigor, competence, and responsibility. The works, which began in August 2025, will run until February 2027, ensuring the regular operation of all academic and extracurricular activities with maximum safety and without interruption to the school community’s routines.
