Tétris, a JLL design and build company, has successfully completed a landmark renovation project for the premium reception areas and guest zones at the iconic Estádio do Dragão, home of FC Porto. Project scope: From private boxes to premium reception areas
As part of the Estádio do Dragão renovation, Tétris was responsible for transforming several hospitality spaces by executing the build-out of four main public welcome zones for FC Porto's annual members and VIP guests.
Key project interventions included:
- Renovating and modernizing 84 private boxes in the East and West Wings.
- Upgrading the Presidential Box to create a premium experience worthy of FC Porto's prestige.
- Enhancements to the East Wing’s Central Stand, improving circulation and creating a distinct atmosphere for general member access.
- These upgrades blend aesthetic sophistication with functionality, delivering hospitality aligned with the club's reputation for excellence.
Custom design and furniture for premium spaces
Beyond the renovation and fit-out, Tétris was tasked with developing, testing, and producing all furniture used in the modernized spaces. This integrated process ensured total design consistency and strict quality control.
Key pieces produced include furnishings for:
- The private and presidential boxes.
- Welcoming premium reception areas that balance elegance with durability.
- Fully equipped bars designed for efficient service during high-traffic events.
- Each element was designed to complement the stadium's architectural character while meeting the functional demands of a world-class sports and cultural venue.
Precision under pressure: Delivery in record time
One of the most challenging aspects of this stadium's premium area renovation was the requirement to complete the project in just two months, between May and July, with no margin for delays due to FC Porto's competitive schedule.

We started work right after the last game of the season and managed to deliver a day before the new season—in record time. It was a very challenging job on all levels and is a decisive step for JLL/Tétris to continue growing in Porto and the Northern region.”
