Tétris Takes Experiences to New Heights with Highline Warsaw
It began as an ambitious vision: to transform the summit of Varso Tower — the tallest skyscraper in the European Union — into a place where visitors don’t just admire the city… they feel part of it.
Tétris Poland, a JLL subsidiary specialising in commercial fit-out and interior design, has brought this vision to life with Highline Warsaw, now officially the highest tourist attraction in the EU.
At more than 1,600 square metres of viewing terraces, hospitality destinations and multimedia environments, the result is a breathtaking new experience above Warsaw — the first of its kind in Poland, and a landmark addition to Magnicity’s global network alongside Paris, Berlin, Rotterdam and Chicago.
From Vision to Reality: A High-Altitude Achievement
Creating a visitor attraction above the clouds is one thing. Building it 310 metres above ground is another. Every detail of this project demanded meticulous planning, technical precision and seamless international collaboration.
Tétris’ scope of work included:
- Complete finishing and technical execution across 1,600+ m²
- Functional and technical back-of-house spaces on level -2
- A welcoming reception area on the ground floor
- Immersive entertainment and viewing spaces on the 46th and 49th floors
- A panoramic rooftop garden terrace with custom-made furniture
- Integrated lighting, security and audio-video systems
Designed by French architectural studio BRS, every element required a fully bespoke approach — there was nothing standard about working at this scale and height.
Elevating the Experience: Emotion and Design Above the City
As visitors make their way upward through Varso Tower, the magic builds. Each floor adds a new chapter to a journey designed to surprise and inspire.
Level 46: A Sensory Encounter
In collaboration with set designer Clemence Farrell, Tétris delivered:
- A refined souvenir shop
- An immersive corridor where mirrors and projected clouds create the illusion of walking above Warsaw
- The Experience Room, a multimedia space combining floor screens, mirrored surfaces and stretch ceilings to craft a powerful storytelling moment
This is not a view. It’s a transformation of perspective.
Level 49: Hospitality in the Sky
Here, the HighGarden Rooftop Lounge offers guests a luxurious place to gather above the skyline. Natural stone, wood, suspended greenery and advanced AV technologies create an atmosphere where the city becomes part of the design.
Even the restrooms were imagined as a moment of delight — lined entirely with mirrors and featuring illuminated designer washbasins.
On Top of the European Union
The final ascent leads outdoors to:
- A panoramic observation deck
- A rooftop garden
- Telescopes for discovering Warsaw’s landmarks
- Furniture crafted specifically for this unique setting
