Challenge
Moody's, a global leader in credit ratings, research, and financial data, required a transformation of their top floor in Brussels. This strategic floor serves as both the company's reception area and its primary meeting center.
The challenge was to create a space that would establish a welcoming first impression for visitors that reflects Moody's professional standing, while providing versatile meeting environments to accommodate diverse collaboration needs.
The project needed to incorporate a multipurpose work café that could function for daily use and seamlessly transform for larger company events. A critical aspect was uniting the varied functional spaces under a cohesive design language that authentically embodies Moody's corporate values.
The layout needed careful optimization to balance private meeting areas with communal spaces, creating environments conducive to both focused work and creative thinking. Additionally, with evolving workplace dynamics, the design needed to support hybrid working models with appropriate technology integration, ensuring Moody's Brussels office remained relevant and functional for contemporary business practices.

Solution
Our comprehensive redesign of Moody's top floor created a sophisticated yet functional environment blending various working styles while maintaining a unified aesthetic.
The renovation begins with a warm reception area communicating Moody's professional identity. Adjacent is a spacious work café—transitioning from everyday breakout space to venue for company presentations.
Meeting spaces were diversified to support different collaboration needs: a lounge for casual discussions; conventional meeting rooms; technology-optimized rooms for hybrid meetings; a library space; a high-end boardroom; and a dynamic brainstorming zone.
Between these spaces, we integrated a breakout area with coffee corner and meeting bubbles—a refreshing pause point for colleagues to recharge or engage in impromptu conversations.
Each space maintains its distinct character while contributing to a cohesive design narrative. Materials and colors were selected to create visual harmony reflecting Moody's values of integrity, excellence, and forward thinking. The result is a sophisticated workspace enhancing collaboration and supporting multiple work modes.
