For the new Milan headquarters of a Global (re)Insurance Company, we needed to create an office that reflected the company's spirit while harmonizing with the modern context of the Gae Aulenti district.
Our mission was to balance the corporate identity, based on values of professionalism and excellence, with local aesthetics, incorporating elements of Italian design.
The goal was to bring to life a unique and dynamic work environment, capable of promoting employee well-being, fostering collaboration, and increasing productivity, while simultaneously meeting criteria of sustainability, flexibility, and adaptability.

In synergy with JLL's Project & Development Services and Workplace Strategy teams, we designed work environments that, in addition to meeting the company's current needs, are conceived to evolve with future changes in the world of work. The concept is characterized by fluid lines and a color palette with warm and enveloping tones, evocative of natural hues, creating a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere.
The reception area, enhanced by designer furniture and lighting, communicates an image of professionalism and hospitality, infusing a positive sensation throughout the entire space. Flexibility is at the core of the project: operational areas are equipped with ergonomic, height-adjustable workstations, complete with mobile monitor supports and dimmable lights, allowing each employee to personalize their work environment.
Versatile and multipurpose spaces, such as the break area and the modular meeting room, promote collaboration and adapt to various operational modes. To meet the need for concentration and privacy, we have incorporated quiet zones, focus rooms, and closed offices where interferences are minimized.
Principles of sustainability and quality guided the entire realization process, in line with the building's LEED Silver certification. We adopted low energy consumption lighting systems, favored eco-friendly and natural materials, and integrated biophilic elements such as vegetation, wood, and stone to recreate an authentic connection with nature. Acoustics were optimized through the use of sound-absorbing materials, while careful space planning allowed for maximizing natural light, improving visual comfort, and strengthening the connection with the surrounding environment.
