When Campaign Monitor asked us for a professional, dynamic yet homely space, we based the design on their core values of adaptable, innovate, collaboration, respect.
Solution
We delivered a space for 80 employees with quiet pods and collaboration zones in the work zone and a co-working hub for company events in the heart of the office. The view to The Shard and the river Thames on entry is key to the design. A glazed meeting space in just the right spot creates a natural entrance area while retaining the view.
In the social area, a fully opening bi-folding door system to the conference room allows for all hands events and presentations to take place in the transformable common space. A large dining table, reconfigurable tables, meeting booths and a café bar complete the social feel which was key to the success of the project.
The flexibility and comfort of the space was key and we worked closely with our furniture supply chain to deliver on the brief within budget. From one-to-one lounges using sofas and lounge chairs, to multi-use areas using interesting shapes which can be reconfigured through linking elements and moved on castors. Every employee was provided with electric height adjustable desks to support physical wellbeing.

<p>In conjunction with JLL, Bayer appointed Tétris to provide a Cat B Detail & Build fit out of their new UK & Ireland headquarters in Green Park, Reading. As an environmentally conscious business park, one of Bayer’s key requirements was to deliver a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rated fit out.</p>\r\n<p>Spread over four floors, the project includes impressive client facing spaces throughout the ground floor, including a large and adaptable meeting suite, welcome area and exhibition space. The exhibition space showcases Bayer’s 150 year history and far reaching intentions for future products, concepts and research in healthcare for humans, animals and plant life. We also created a teaching laboratory for local schools to learn about the company’s vast accomplishments in science, along with a café and restaurant space for both staff and visitors. Each of the upper three floors consist of free-flowing open plan office spaces surrounding a central atrium. The spaces are across three zones which incorporate collaboration areas, meeting rooms, phone booths, social spaces and tea points. These add up to make Bayer’s new offices ideal for flexible working.<br />\r\n Adding life and colour throughout the building are graphic wall coverings that show Bayer’s contrasting, yet complementary, interests and expertise. Subtly incorporated within the various finishes and surfaces are representations of DNA and molecular patterns making this a lively constantly intriguing workspace.</p>
