Tétris successfully completed the comprehensive refurbishment of MAPFRE's new headquarters, a €5 million project involving the complete renovation of a 9,500 m² building in Lisbon. Responsible for coordinating and executing all phases of the works, from demolition to final finishes, including complete façade replacement and creation of new work and social spaces, Tétris delivered in 12 months a modern headquarters that reflects MAPFRE's corporate identity.
This project represents another milestone in the partnership between Tétris and Mapfre, following successful collaborations such as the former headquarters in the Zenith building in Miraflores and on Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro.

The MAPFRE headquarters refurbishment involved a profound renovation that reconfigured the building's functionality and design. The main project interventions included:
- Execution of new concrete slabs on lower floors for structural reinforcement
- Creation of an entrance lobby with double-height ceiling for an expansive reception
- Upper floor expansion with canteen and rooftop for social spaces
- Complete replacement of exterior façade for a renewed corporate image
- Development of modern workspaces, meeting rooms and executive offices
- Construction of a gym, auditorium and flagship store to diversify service offerings

Complex engineering: High-precision technical solutions
The project required specialised engineering solutions to overcome complex technical challenges, demonstrating Tétris's expertise in projects of this scale.
Among the most demanding challenges was the installation of a tower crane anchored to the building's top floor to execute façade works and upper expansion. The complete renovation of technical installations included adaptation of the entire HVAC infrastructure with reinforcement systems for the newly created spaces.
The intervention also included installation of an underground transformer station next to the building entrance, ensuring adequate energy autonomy for operational needs. During the final phase of works, Tétris implemented an emergency power system that allowed gradual building occupation before definitive connection to the new transformer station, ensuring operational continuity without compromising safety.
